Job Description

Consultant Physician (w/m/d) Trauma Surgery | Mönchengladbach, Germany | On-site We're hiring for a leading medical facility located in Düsseldorf, recognized as the only hospital on the left bank of the Rhine city. This hospital is a center of excellence, specializing in surgery, orthopedics, and internal medicine, serving over 41,000 patients annually with a dedicated team of approximately 640 employees. The Role • Actively participate in general trauma surgery consultations. • Provide comprehensive care for patients across the full spectrum of trauma surgery in a primary and secondary care setting. • Independently perform surgical procedures for both outpatient and inpatient cases, ensuring thorough pre- and post-operative patient management. • Support medical documentation through digital dictation and serve as a representative physician for accident insurance procedures. • Participate in the on-call duty roster for consultant physicians to ensure continuous trauma surgery coverage. What You'll Need • Completed specialist training as a Board-Certified Physician (w/m/d) in Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery or Special Orthopedics/Trauma Surgery. • Proficient in performing common trauma surgery procedures and working within an interdisciplinary emergency care setting. • A desire for professional development or prior experience in a consultant physician role, ideally with completed courses for the accident insurance physician procedure. • Willingness to take responsibility for organizational and content-related processes and actively contribute to the advancement of the trauma surgery department. • An empathetic, appreciative demeanor, strong teamwork skills, initiative, and flexibility.
