Experience with WinKQCL is not required. Experience with QA verification of software within the Pharmaceutical industry is highly desired.

The team is currently in the middle of a full redesign and rewrite of the software and is looking for a Senior Software QA Analyst to assist with verification and testing prior to release. The candidate will be responsible for building and executing test cases. The primary focus is on manual testing, although automation experience is also welcome.

There are currently two testers on the team with experience using the software. The Senior Software QA Analyst will provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to the existing testers.

The preferred candidate will be located in Walkersville, MD, as onsite presence will be required to learn how the software integrates with hardware. A hybrid schedule is possible, and candidates working from Portsmouth may also be considered if necessary. Interview preference is in person, although virtual interviews are acceptable.

Description

The Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for managing end-to-end software testing and quality associated with the software. The role also acts as the oversight for all project deliverables, planning, test execution, and reporting. Support for software quality audit portions of questionnaires, onsite audits, and virtual audits is also expected.

The candidate will work closely with Software Validation, Software Support, Software Development, and Software Deployment groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and scoping of software testing for releases, patches, and hotfixes.

• Responsible for oversight of all project deliverables, planning, test execution, and reporting.

• Responsible for QA approval of all software release documentation.

• Responsible for planning and creation of validation support packages for end users.

• Participation in and support for the software quality audit portions of questionnaires, onsite audits, and virtual audits.

• Management of Software Quality SOPs and Job Aids.

• Management and oversight of Software Testing systems.

• Build and execute software test cases for pre-release verification.

• Provide mentoring and coaching to existing QA testers.

• Collaborate with Software Validation, Software Support, Software Development, and Software Deployment teams.
