Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Okta Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using Okta. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Lifecycle Management, and Identity Governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise IAM solutions using Okta.
• Architect and deploy SSO, MFA, Adaptive Authentication, and Universal Directory solutions.
• Integrate Okta with cloud, SaaS, and on-premises applications.
• Configure and manage Okta Lifecycle Management and provisioning workflows.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to define IAM strategies.
• Perform security assessments and recommend identity security best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex authentication, authorization, and federation issues.
• Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Lead migration projects from legacy IAM platforms to Okta.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to IAM engineers.

Required Skills:

• 12+ years of IT experience with 4+ years of hands-on Okta experience.
• Strong knowledge of:
• SAML 2.0
• OAuth 2.0
• OpenID Connect (OIDC)
• LDAP
• SCIM
• JWT
• Experience with Okta Workforce Identity Cloud.
• Experience implementing SSO, MFA, and federation solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, or APIs.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust security principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Okta Certified Professional / Administrator / Consultant certifications.
• Experience with IAM tools such as SailPoint, Saviynt, or Ping Identity.
• Experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
