DataStage Integration Support Engineer

Role: Lead DataStage Integration Support Engineer
Location: Los Angeles, CA (4 days onsite)
Experience: 8 10 Years

Key Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end DataStage ETL platform (development, administration, and support).
Lead and mentor a team of DataStage support engineers.
Design, develop, and enhance ETL jobs and workflows.
Administer DataStage (user roles, security, deployments, and migrations).
Troubleshoot job failures across DataStage and Unix environments.
Manage incident management, RCA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and debug shell scripts and Python-based automation.
Manage Control-M (job monitoring, failure handling, scheduling, agent upgrades).
Configure SAP/Unix jobs, calendars, and workload policies.
Support Gentran (maps, mailboxes, FTP scripts, Java programs, SQL procedures).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for issue resolution.

Mandatory Skills:
8 10 years of experience in IBM DataStage (Development + Admin).
Strong expertise in Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and cron jobs.
Hands-on experience with Python programming.
Strong experience with Control-M administration and scheduling.
Solid knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle).
Proven experience in production support, incident management, and RCA.
Experience leading teams and handling stakeholder communication.
