Senior Production Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Production Engineer in Northamptonshire to play a key role in bridging Engineering and Manufacturing, ensuring products are delivered efficiently, accurately and to the highest quality standards. Please note: Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Key Responsibilities of a Senior Production Engineer

• Create, validate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product structures.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and support configuration control activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Maintain manufacturing data packs, assembly instructions and production documentation.
• Support product lifecycle activities, including component obsolescence and alternative component approvals.
• Act as the technical interface between Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and Quality teams.
• Investigate production issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Support product updates across mechanical, electrical and electronic assemblies.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and production personnel. Requirements of a Senior Production Engineer:
• Experience in Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a similar technical manufacturing role.
• Strong experience managing BOMs, engineering changes and manufacturing documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting manufacturing environments and driving process improvements.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and engineering data management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
