Job Description

Our client is an international private bank with a long-standing reputation for excellence in wealth management and investment advisory services. To support the continued growth of its Investment team, our client is looking for an Investment Analyst. This opportunity is ideal for a junior professional with 1 to 2 years of experience in Luxembourg, gained within a bank, asset manager or investment firm, and who has already been exposed to investment banking products.

You are not expected to be an expert. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and ongoing mentoring, allowing you to progressively develop your expertise in investment products and investment advisory within an international banking environment.

Junior Analyst - Your responsibilities:

  • Support the Investment team in the preparation of client investment proposals and presentations.
  • Collect, review and maintain investment product documentation, including KIDs, factsheets and other regulatory documents.
  • Assist in the monitoring of UCITS, AIFs and other investment solutions distributed by the bank.
  • Coordinate with Portfolio Managers, Product Specialists and Relationship Managers to gather relevant investment information.
  • Prepare investment reports, Excel analyses and internal documentation.
  • Perform market and product research to support investment recommendations.
  • Participate in the preparation of Investment Committee files and governance documentation.
  • Ensure the accuracy of product information and compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the optimization of internal reporting tools and investment processes.

Junior Analyst - Your profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
  • 1 to 2 years of professional experience in Luxembourg within a bank, private bank, asset manager or investment company.
  • First exposure to investment products, UCITS, AIFs or investment activities.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with Excel and handling financial data.
  • Fluent Portuguese and English are mandatory. French is considered a valuable asset.
  • Curious, proactive and eager to continuously develop your technical knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work within an international team.
