Role Overview
NR Consulting is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology projects from planning to delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong experience managing software, infrastructure, cloud, application development, or enterprise technology projects while coordinating with clients, business teams, developers, QA, DevOps, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end IT projects including planning, execution, tracking, delivery, and closure.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, QA, DevOps, vendors, and clients.
- Track project progress, budgets, resource allocation, risks, and issue resolution.
- Prepare project plans, status reports, dashboards, meeting notes, and stakeholder updates.
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog tracking, and release coordination.
- Ensure timely delivery with quality, compliance, and business alignment.
- Identify project risks early and drive mitigation plans.
- Manage client communication and stakeholder expectations.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management, technology delivery, or program coordination.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, project planning, risk management, and release management.
- Experience managing software development, cloud, infrastructure, application support, or enterprise IT projects.
- Strong communication, leadership, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Working knowledge of tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- PMP, Scrum Master, Agile, or project management certification will be preferred.
- Experience working with offshore, remote, or distributed teams.
- Basic understanding of APIs, databases, cloud platforms, DevOps, QA, and security practices.
- Experience in banking, healthcare, staffing, SaaS, or enterprise applications will be an advantage.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should be organized, decisive, and comfortable managing both people and timelines. The person should be able to keep projects moving, stakeholders aligned, and risks controlled before "quick update" meetings become a full-time job.
