Cyber Security Engineers (PAM, Security Engineering & Threat Detection)

We're working with a leading financial services organisation undergoing significant investment across its Cyber Security function. As part of this growth, we're looking to speak with Cyber Security professionals ranging from Associate through to AVP level who can help strengthen proactive security controls, privileged access management capabilities, security monitoring and security engineering practices.

These positions sit within a proactive security team focused on reducing risk before it becomes an incident through the implementation of preventative controls, security tooling, automation and identity security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support, administer and enhance CyberArk Privileged Access Management environments.
• Design and implement security controls across infrastructure, identity and cloud environments.
• Configure, integrate and optimise security tooling and security platforms.
• Develop automation and Scripting solutions using PowerShell and/or Python.
• Build and improve threat detection, monitoring and security engineering capabilities.
• Support SIEM, SOAR and security monitoring initiatives.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, architecture and security teams on security improvement projects.
• Participate in security tool evaluations, proof of concepts and platform enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience within Cyber Security, Security Engineering, PAM, IAM or related disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of CyberArk or Privileged Access Management technologies.
• Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell and/or Python.
• Understanding of networking, Firewalls, proxies, VPNs and enterprise infrastructure.
• Exposure to Azure, AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, ISO27001 and MITRE ATT&CK would be advantageous.

Additional Experience of Interest

• Microsoft Sentinel or other SIEM platforms.
• Threat Detection Engineering and Threat Hunting.
• Security Automation and SOAR technologies.
• Identity Security and Zero Trust initiatives. )
• Secrets Management and Certificate Management.
• EDR, DLP and broader enterprise security tooling.
