Position: Snowflake Architect/Lead

Job Description:

• Design and implement scalable Snowflake architectures for data warehouse, data lake, and data sharing solutions.
• Develop data models and analytics-ready datasets.
• Build and oversee batch and near real-time ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Implement Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.
• Configure and manage Snowflake Data Sharing and advanced Snowflake capabilities (including Cortex AI).
• Establish data governance, masking, encryption, and security controls.
• Partner with business, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver data solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt new Snowflake features to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Support advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and anomaly detection initiatives.
• Administer Snowflake environments across development, testing, and production.
• Manage databases, schemas, warehouses, users, roles, and resource monitors.
• Monitor platform performance, availability, and usage costs.

Required:

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Data Platform roles.
• 4+ years of hands-on Snowflake architecture and administration experience.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with Python.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT design and data integration processes.
• Experience managing Snowflake security, governance, and access controls.
