Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Java Developer with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular, AWS EKS, Kubernetes, and Cloud-Native Architecture.

The ideal candidate will have experience modernizing legacy monolithic Java/J2EE applications into containerized microservices, along with hands-on experience developing Angular applications and troubleshooting cloud-based microservices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Design and develop RESTful web services, batch jobs, and backend components.
• Participate in migration of legacy monolithic applications to microservices-based architecture.
• Develop and enhance Angular-based user interfaces.
• Work with AWS EKS, Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to microservices running in AWS EKS environments.
• Develop and review microservices and Angular UI components to ensure functionality aligns with existing legacy applications.
• Work with legacy Java technologies including JSP, EJB, JDBC, JavaScript, and MVC architecture.
• Apply object-oriented design principles and design patterns such as Singleton, Factory, and DAO.
• Develop Proofs of Concept (PoCs) for integrating new tools and technologies into existing applications.
• Work with IBM WebSphere Application Server and enterprise Java/J2EE applications.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries using DB2 and Oracle databases.
• Participate in application troubleshooting, debugging, testing, code reviews, and production support.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional Java/J2EE development experience.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS EKS and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Docker/containerization and cloud-native architecture.
• Strong experience with Angular and JavaScript.
• Experience developing REST APIs/Web Services and Batch Jobs.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis & Design.
• Experience with design patterns including Singleton, Factory, and DAO.
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture.
• Experience with JSP, EJB, JDBC, and other J2EE technologies.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.0.
• Strong SQL experience with DB2 and/or Oracle.
• Experience working with Linux environments is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with SUSE Linux 11 / VMware environments.
• Experience with RAD 7.5 or above.
• Experience working on Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES).
• Experience with enterprise application modernization and legacy-to-microservices migration.
• Experience developing PoCs and integrating new technologies into existing enterprise systems.
