Quick overview
Job description
You'll be Weave's first filmmaker. You tell the story of how the best engineering teams turn into software factories. Customers, dinners, stunts, ads, podcasts, and the AI startups building what's next.
If it moves on a screen, it's yours. Every piece should get watched. Every piece should get us pipeline.
About Weave
Weave is the engineering platform for the AI era. We help engineering teams understand how they work and get better. No vanity metrics. No surveillance.
200+ customers, including Robinhood, Rho, and Browserbase
Double-digit month-over-month revenue growth
$13.5M Series A from Standard Capital, Y Combinator, Moonfire, Burst Capital, IrregEx, and the Agent Fund
Three products: Engineering Intelligence, Weave Router, and Token Intelligence
Small, in-person team in San Francisco
You'll work directly with Adam (CEO), Andrew (CTO), and Brennan (GTM). Real ownership from day one.
What you'll do
Make customers the hero. Shoot case studies with the teams that run on Weave. Turn one interview into a 3-minute film and 10 clips.
Show the inside. Days in the life of engineers, founders, and our own team. Real work. No stock footage.
Film our dinners. Capture the CTO dinners and events we run. Cut recaps that make people want the next invite.
Shoot the stunts. Wooly, the token jar, whatever comes next. Plan the shot list, run camera, ship cuts within 24 hours.
Go deep on the frontier. Sit down with the most advanced AI startups. Learn how they build. Make the series engineers binge.
Make the ads. Creative for Meta, Google, and LinkedIn. Concept, shoot, edit, test, and double down on what converts.
Own every length. 15-second clips to hour-long episodes, across X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
Who you are
You've made video people chose to watch. You have the reel to prove it.
Must-haves
You've shot and edited work that performed. Show us the numbers.
You know what makes a clip travel on X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
You move fast. Shoot today, ship tomorrow.
You want to be in the office in SF, 5 days a week.
