Project Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data & Cloud Architect to lead the design and modernization of data and cloud platforms for a healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will build scalable, secure, and compliant data architectures, guide cloud adoption across hybrid environments, and partner with engineering and business teams to deliver modern, data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data architectures and cloud-based solutions using Snowflake, AWS, and DynamoDB.
  • Lead application modernization initiatives, defining architecture patterns, integration frameworks, and migration strategies.
  • Architect and optimize Big Data ecosystems to support large-scale data processing and analytics.
  • Establish DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code.
  • Define and enforce cloud governance standards across hybrid cloud environments, ensuring security, compliance, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, and development teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ensure solutions meet healthcare data security and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of IT experience, with significant experience in the healthcare domain.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, AWS, DynamoDB, and Big Data ecosystems.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable data architectures and cloud solutions.
  • Solid understanding of application architecture patterns, integration frameworks, and modernization strategies.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and cloud governance.

Nice to Have

  • Deep healthcare domain knowledge, including familiarity with HIPAA, HL7/FHIR, claims, or EHR data.
  • AWS or Snowflake certifications.
