Job Description


We are seeking a AI Operations Lead to join our dynamic team supporting AVANADE. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise AI platform operations focused on Claude Enterprise, Claude Console, OpenAI API, and OpenAI Codex and a proven ability to own triage, prioritization, and high-volume operational execution across non-prod and prod environments.


Responsibilities:



  • Serve as cognitive lead, triage point, and backlog owner for all inbound feature requests, issues, and released changes across Claude Enterprise, Claude Console, OpenAI API, and OpenAI Codex.

  • Own prioritization and escalation, determine sequencing of work, and remove blockers as needed.

  • Track Anthropic and OpenAI releases, deprecations, model changes, and breaking updates, and proactively manage impacts.

  • Recommend process improvements to enhance stability and throughput.

  • Operate with governance and close engagement over engineering teams while remaining self-sufficient.

  • Execute meticulous configuration, access and licensing management, troubleshooting, testing, and environment management across non-prod and prod.

  • Ensure platform reliability and smooth day-to-day operations across the four platforms.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • Hands-on expertise with Claude Enterprise, Claude Console, OpenAI API, and OpenAI Codex.

  • Proficiency in operational runbook execution, environment management, and production change control.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for triage, root-cause analysis, and incident management.

  • Experience coordinating backlogs, prioritizing work, and driving escalations with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Clear communication and documentation abilities for change logs, release notes, and stakeholder updates.

  • Experience level: 5+ years in platform operations, site reliability, or application support in enterprise settings.


Preferred Skills:



  • Familiarity with governance, access management, and license administration in regulated environments.

  • Experience working within Agile frameworks and using ticketing and backlog tools.


Additional Details:



  • Worksite: Gates Foundation, 500 5th Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109.

  • Onsite: 1-2 days per week.

  • Drug screen: Not required.

  • Work authorization: U.S. citizenship required. and H 1 visa holders are not accepted.
