Job Description
GovCIO LLC seeks a Program Manager to lead complex federal IT and digital modernization programs. You will oversee multiple agile software, cloud, cybersecurity, and data analytics projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget are met. Partner with government stakeholders, translate mission needs into roadmaps, manage risks and vendors, and drive continuous improvement. You'll mentor cross-functional teams, coordinate delivery across contracts, track KPIs, and report progress to executives while fostering a mission-driven, collaborative culture focused on innovation and work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate complex federal IT and digital modernization programs from initiation through delivery
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality across multiple agile software and cloud projects
- Collaborate with federal stakeholders to translate mission needs into program roadmaps and release plans
- Oversee risk, issue, and dependency management, including mitigation planning and escalation
- Direct and mentor cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and cybersecurity staff
- Manage vendor and subcontractor performance to meet contract and service-level objectives
- Track and analyze program KPIs, producing reports and briefings for executives and government clients
- Ensure compliance with federal standards, security requirements, and contract obligations
- Drive continuous improvement, adopting best practices in Agile, Dev
