Job description

Join a growing international freight forwarding business - Internal Sales Executive

28K - 35K - 33 days holiday including bank holidays - Mon to Fri business hours - 1 day hybrid

Are you an experienced freight forwarding sales professional who enjoys building customer relationships, negotiating rates and winning new business?

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing competitive freight quotations, bids and tenders across Air, Sea and Road
  • Generating accurate quotes using CargoWise
  • Negotiating rates with airlines, shipping lines and overseas partners
  • Following up quotations and converting opportunities into new business
  • Building strong relationships with UK customers and international agents
  • Handling customer and pricing enquiries
  • Passing secured shipments smoothly to the Operations team

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years' freight forwarding sales experience

Strong knowledge of the freight forwarding industry

  • Excellent customer service, negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience pricing Air, Sea and Road freight
  • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
