Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer for a 12-month contract opportunity in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in vulnerability management, patching technologies, automation, and network security to support secure IT operations.
Cybersecurity Engineer Responsibilities

• Operate, manage, and optimize vulnerability scanning platforms and patching technologies.
• Build and maintain test environments to support security operations.
• Develop automation solutions and dashboarding capabilities.
• Apply risk-based prioritization to vulnerability assessment and remediation.
• Support infrastructure security, threat intelligence, security monitoring, and vulnerability assessment activities.
• Analyze network traffic and support secure operations and incident response.

Cybersecurity Engineer Required Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in managing vulnerability scanning platforms, patching technologies, and automation.
• Solid understanding of core network fundamentals.
• Understanding of air-gapped environments and risk-based prioritization.
• Knowledge of infrastructure security, threat intelligence, security monitoring, and vulnerability assessment.
• Familiarity with common network protocols, segmentation principles, and traffic analysis.
