Part-Time Reuse Online Sales Assistant

Location: Newport
Salary: 13.45 per h /paid weekly
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2027, with potential for extension

We are recruiting on behalf of an established environmental organisation working across South East Wales to support the growth of its reuse and circular economy services.

We are looking for a Reuse Online Sales Assistant to help develop and manage online sales of donated and upcycled items, with a particular focus on IT equipment.

The Role

You will be responsible for identifying suitable items, researching their value and listing them on online platforms such as eBay. You will also manage orders, packing and dispatch, customer enquiries, returns and stock records.

You will work closely with the Reuse IT team to identify and prepare suitable equipment for sale, helping to maximise income while keeping valuable items in use.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous online sales experience, particularly eBay.
• Good knowledge of IT equipment, components and their value.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Good research, literacy and numeracy skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• The ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
• A flexible and positive approach to working with colleagues, volunteers and people from a wide range of backgrounds.

Experience of working with volunteers, placements, charities, antiques or collectables would be desirable.
