The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks. • Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard. • Stack, move, and organize containers efficiently and safely. • Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics tasks. What You'll Need • A valid driver’s license is required. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Willingness to work a night shift schedule, including weekends and holidays. • Strong commitment to safety and a keen attention to detail. • Basic communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs.
