Job Description

Position : Sage X3 Consultant (would like manufacturing background) || 100% Remote

Length : 6-12 Mo Contract Remote, 

Location : Remote , Works CST (need EST, CST zone candidates)

Visa  : USC

Sage X3 Consultant with both functional and technical expertise to support a complex manufacturing environment. 

  • Hands-on resource responsible for configuring and supporting core Sage X3 modules, gathering business requirements, developing custom solutions, managing integrations, supporting upgrades, and driving process improvements across multiple locations.
  • Comfortable working directly with business stakeholders while also performing technical development and support activities within the Sage X3 ecosystem.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Configure and support Sage X3 across Manufacturing, Inventory, Purchasing, Sales, and Finance modules.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders.
  • Perform gap analysis and create functional design documentation.
  • Support testing activities including test planning, user acceptance testing, cutover planning, and post-go-live support.
  • Drive process standardization and operational improvements across multiple business locations.

 

Technical Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Sage X3 customizations using X3 4GL.
  • Configure workflows, entry points, and screen personalizations.
  • Build and support integrations utilizing web services, middleware, and EDI technologies.
  • Support manufacturing and shop-floor system integrations.
  • Create reports, inquiries, and SQL-based solutions.
  • Perform data migration, transformation, validation, and data cleanup activities.
  • Support system upgrades, patch management, troubleshooting, and performance optimization efforts.
