Manufacturing Automation Engineer

Pay Range: $43.00hr - $47.00hr Responsibilities: Process planning and machine specification creation. Machine and equipment procurement, installation and trial management, quality analysis, adjustment, and improvement. Project management, schedule control, budget control and cost reduction, and manufacturing support or process tracking.

Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience. Ability to work weekends, holiday periods, and shutdown periods to support tooling modification and installation projects. Ability to travel to support work at machine vendors and manufacturing locations. Strong computer modeling experience using Catia or Carrot3.

Required Skills: 1-2 years of hands-on automotive or manufacturing engineering experience. 1-2 years of experience with tooling design, tooling procurement, jigs, and weld tools. 1-2 years of experience in automotive or body welding, new equipment procurement, and new product launch. 1-2 years of robotics experience. 1-2 years of Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) experience.

Preferred Skills: 1-2 years of project management experience.
