SUMMARY

Q2 is seeking a skilled Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for our SDK, Developer Portal, and Marketplace experiences. In this role, you will provide product oversight for SDK development, partnering closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional product lines to align investment with Q2's broader platform strategy. You will gather and translate client, partner, and internal stakeholder feedback into clear requirements, prioritize work to maximize impact, and architect a roadmap that accelerates extensibility, partner innovation, and ecosystem growth. You will champion a clear vision for Q2's developer experience-communicating direction broadly to financial institutions, partners, and internal teams-while operating in a flexible, fast-paced environment where collaboration and strategic thinking are essential.

The Job At-A-Glance:

• Drive roadmap and product strategy for SDK, Developer Portal and Marketplace


• Collaborate closely with engineering to understand technical trade-offs and influence product design


• Partner with support, observability, and other product leads to analyze root causes of issues


• Monitor and impact key metrics and efficiencies for products


• Provide guidance and mentorship to the product team on the product lifecycle


• Proactively identify opportunities for new trends, features, and products


• Conduct research and provide industry expertise for product business cases


• Establish and track business cases and financials


• Assess the risk of value, feasibility, and usability for product success


• Communicate value and vision effectively, establishing credibility with stakeholders


• Engage with clients and prospects via Relationship and Sales teams as needed


• Build effective relationships with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams


• Champion end-user experience through integration of human interaction best practices and front-end design


• Work with engineering counterparts to ensure security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies are adhered to


• Deliver product acceptance criteria for development teams to ensure high-quality outcomes


• Collaborate with Release Management to develop release documentation and internal training materials

Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here's What We're Looking For:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in (relevant degree) and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience


• Demonstrable experience in software product management


• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills


• Strong teamwork, organization, and problem-solving abilities


• Excel and data analysis proficiency


• Self-starter with ability to deliver results independently


• Experience with Pendo or other user analytics applications is a plus
