ASAP - candidates with current SC/DV can onboard within a couple of weeks The Role We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer with an EC&I / Control Systems background to support commissioning activities on a major programme at AWE.

You will be responsible for supporting the testing, commissioning and handover of electrical, instrumentation and control systems within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities Commissioning and testing of EC&amp;I and control systems<br />Fault-finding, functional testing and system verification<br />Reviewing commissioning documentation, test procedures and drawings<br />Supporting installation, pre-commissioning and handover<br />Working closely with engineering, construction and project teams<br />Ensuring commissioning activities meet safety, quality and project requirements Requirements Proven commissioning experience within EC&amp;I, C&amp;I or Control Systems<br />Experience with PLC/SCADA and control systems<br />Strong understanding of electrical/instrumentation systems<br />Experience working on complex, highly regulated engineering projects<br />Live SC or DV clearance - essential<br />Valid CSCS card - essential<br />A relevant HNC/HND or degree in Electrical, Control &amp; Instrumentation, Automation or Engineering preferred<br />AWE experience highly desirable<br />Nuclear, defence, process or other safety-critical experience advantageous<br />£500/day | AWE | 3-month initial contract | SC/DV essential | Immediate requirement
