With a legacy spanning over 40 years, they foster a culture of purpose, innovation, and continuous growth. They are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.

The Role

• Collaborate with finance directors and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of journal entries and transactions.
• Provide guidance and training to accounting staff, serving as an initial resource for transaction recording and policy inquiries.
• Perform day-to-day accounting tasks for assigned communities, stepping in for communities without dedicated accountants.
• Prepare daily cash account reconciliations and monthly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Identify and resolve accounting issues, developing processes and controls to prevent recurrence.
• Assist in the preparation of month-end, quarterly, and annual reports, as well as consolidation and other reporting requirements.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of five years of accounting experience, or a combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
