Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Primary:

Python: 10+ years of advanced Python development experience

Problem Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills with complex data scenarios

Data Processing Libraries: Proficiency with Polars, PyArray, Parquet, wheels, Pandas, NumPy, Apache Spark (PySpark), Dask, or similar frameworks

AI Tools: Experience using AI-powered development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) for code generation, debugging, and optimization

Secondary:

Apache Kafka: Experience with real-time data streaming and message processing

Oracle & SQL: Strong database skills with complex query optimization

Kubernetes: Container orchestration and deployment experience

Version Control: Git workflow and collaborative development practices

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Python-based data processing workflows and pipelines

Build scalable data ingestion and transformation systems

Troubleshoot and optimize data processing performance

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions

Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation

Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews
