About Long Home
For nearly 80 years, the Long brand has helped homeowners improve and protect their homes through quality products, professional installation, and a commitment to exceptional service.
At Long Home, our success starts with our people. We believe in creating a performance-driven, supportive environment where employees are challenged to grow, recognized for their contributions, and given opportunities to build their careers.

About the Role
Long Home is seeking a results-driven Inside Sales Manager to lead a team focused on recovering revenue, retaining customers, and maximizing the value of existing sales opportunities.
This is a hands-on sales leadership role for someone who knows how to coach a team, use data to drive performance, and turn opportunities into revenue. You'll lead our Inside Sales Specialists responsible for cancel saves, rehash opportunities, and other inside sales initiatives while owning team performance against conversion, retention, revenue, and average order value goals.
You'll also help shape how and when we reach customers, using performance data, technology, AI, and new outreach strategies to continually improve contact and conversion rates.

What You'll Do
Lead, coach, and develop Inside Sales Specialists to achieve revenue, conversion, retention, and average order value goals. Own the performance of the Inside Sales team across cancel saves, rehash opportunities, and other revenue-recovery initiatives. Monitor individual and team KPIs and use performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and corrective actions. Coach Specialists on consultative selling, objection handling, customer retention, pricing, and closing strategies.

Analyze contact and conversion data to determine the most effective times and channels for reaching customers. Manage staffing and scheduling to align team coverage with customer behavior and revenue opportunities. Identify opportunities to expand outreach through phone, text, email, AI, automation, and other emerging technologies. Lead regular one-on-ones, team meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews. Handle escalated or high-value customer situations to help protect revenue and customer relationships.

Partner with Sales leadership to forecast revenue, evaluate performance, and identify opportunities to improve profitability. Recruit, onboard, train, and develop new Inside Sales Specialists. Ensure accurate and consistent documentation of customer activity in the CRM. Maintain a high-energy, accountable sales culture focused on results, continuous improvement, and the customer experience. What We're Looking For
5+ years of inside sales, call center sales, or similar experience, including proven leadership or management experience.

Demonstrated success leading teams against measurable sales, conversion, retention, or revenue goals. Strong sales coaching skills, particularly in objection handling, consultative selling, retention, and closing. Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn KPI, contact, and conversion data into action. Experience building or managing sales reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics. Comfortable testing new strategies and adjusting staffing, scheduling, and outreach based on performance data. Experience with CRM, sales technology, reporting platforms, and phone systems.

Experience leveraging AI, automation, texting, email, or other digital outreach tools to improve sales performance is strongly preferred. Strong leadership, communication, accountability, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. Home improvement, high-ticket consumer sales, or one-call-close experience is a plus.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
