Buyer / Contract / Onsite / Medley, FL

Our client, a well-known aviation defense manufacturer, is actively hiring a Buyer to join their team in Medley, FL! This role will be onsite and requires local candidates.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing purchase orders and supporting documentation in compliance with departmental policies. You will have your own commodity of products to purchase and track delivery on. As the Buyer, you will also issue POs across multiple programs, manage all phases of procurement, and ensure deliveries align with program schedules.

Contract Duration: 9 Months

What you will be doing:

• Monitor open orders, update status, and ensure that Operations and Program personnel are notified of delivery changes
• Seek new sources of supply when necessary
• Manage long-term supplier relationships

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of experience as a buyer
• Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Word
