Technical Project Manager | Kassel, Germany | Hybrid

The Role

  • Technical responsibility for national and international projects, from acquisition to customer acceptance, managing schedule, quality, and costs for subsystems.
  • Responsibility for preparing bids, contract documents, and technical reports in German and English.
  • Analyzing and defining technical requirements, creating specifications, statements of work, and acceptance criteria.
  • Preparing, attending, and moderating contract negotiations, meetings, and project presentations.
  • Ensuring the achievement of technical project goals and contractually compliant project execution.
  • Clarifying and evaluating technical issues in collaboration with internal departments and external partners.

What You'll Need

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.
  • Several years of experience in leading technical projects with strong technical and commercial acumen.
  • Proficiency in SAP, MS Office (especially Excel), Jira, and Confluence.
  • Strong skills in project calculation and fluent command of English.
  • Willingness to undertake regular domestic and international business travel.
  • Ideally, experience in the defense sector or military background.
