Database Administrator with Security Clearance

TMC Technologies is in search of a Database Administrator specializing in both Oracle and Postgres to support a federal client. The candidate must be a US citizen and possess a minimum of an active Top Secret clearance to start due to federal contract requirements. The Database Administrator will :

• Administer Oracle and Postgres databases - Debug Oracle and Postgres databases - Patch and upgrade Oracle and Postgres databases - Conduct performance tuning on Oracle and Postgres databases - Resolve issues with Oracle and Postgres databases Job Requirements US Citizenship and active Top Secret clearance required

Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of DBA experience required
Experience administering Oracle or Postgres databases (ideally both) Experience with AWS/RDS/S3/DMS Experience working with and debugging Oracle/Postgres databases Experience with Oracle/Postgres database patching and upgrades Experience conducting performance tuning on Oracle/Postgres databases Experience with Oracle/Postgres database backup/recovery tools and techniques, such as Oracle RMAN and Flashback Experience with restoring Oracle/Postgres databases Experience configuring Oracle/Postgres databases to meet federal security guidelines Experience identifying and resolving performance or availability issues in databases Experience providing guidance and support to application developers in the creation and deployment of DML or DDL scripts in support of application maintenance or deployment We are equal opportunity/affirmative action employers, committed to diversity in the workplace.
