AlphaGov (Casa Moon LLC d/b/a AlphaGov) delivers public-sector consulting for cities, counties, school systems, special districts, utilities, and related agencies. Our work spans classification and compensation, organizational and operational studies, research and program evaluation, economic and workforce analysis, surveys and community research, and applied data and infrastructure research.
We engage experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel. When you authorize it, AlphaGov may name you as an expert collaborator or key personnel on proposals that match your expertise. We build ready teams for live pursuits — not speculative staffing banks.
This opportunity is contingent upon contract award and final staffing approval. Permission will be requested before including a candidate's name or resume in a proposal.
AlphaGov is seeking Senior IT Specialists for an on-call specialist bench supporting public-agency IT task orders. Engagements may cover general IT services and/or specialized technological and infrastructure-related support. Work is issued as task orders after contract award. One specialty posting covers multiple pursuits that need the same bench depth (systems, network, cybersecurity, data/analytics, cloud).
What you'll do:
- Deliver senior-level support in one or more specialties: systems, infrastructure/network, cybersecurity, data and analytics, cloud, project delivery
- Produce task-order deliverables to public-agency standards
- Coordinate with the on-call IT Program/Project Manager on scope, schedule, and quality
- Contribute specialist qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned
Required:
- Senior-level expertise in at least one scope category above
- Public-agency or large-organization experience
- Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client on-sites
Nice to have:
- Relevant vendor certifications / partner designations (Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, Oracle) matching your specialty
- Port/maritime or California public-agency IT experience
- Assignment history with scope/dates for your primary specialty
