We are looking for an enthusiastic and kind Care Supervisor with a background of working in care to support our team of Care Professionals. The successful candidate will organise and prioritise their workload, have the ability to lead a team and become the person our care professionals’ approach for support.
The role will be a full-time position based on 37.5 hours a week.
The role will include a hybrid working pattern, part in our office in Worthing town centre, and part working in the community supporting our clients and care professionals.
As a Care Supervisor you will be paid an hourly rate of £12.00 to £14.50 per hour. In addition to this you will be paid 45p per mile for travel and performance related bonuses.
Some duties will include:
- Providing an excellent level of care to our clients in their homes (supporting with personal care, companionship, home help, medication support etc).
- Completing regular support visits and care certificate observations with care professionals
- Completing daily audits on clients and care professionals notes, identifying and reporting changes to management
- Regularly complete ‘well-being’ checks with new staff to ensure they feel supported in their roles
- Evidence and always promote best practice and become the person the care professionals approach for support
- Regularly identify and celebrate care professionals and signpost to marketing (birthdays, work anniversaries, care certificates, heart of gold awards
- NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care (or working towards this qualification)
- Minimum of one year working in a domiciliary care setting
- Completion of The Care Certificate
