Job Description
Role Summary
We are looking for a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist to provide evaluation and treatment for patients in a hybrid role based in Nebraska. You will assess mobility and physical function, build individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions that help patients regain independence and improve quality of life. This role is a strong fit for new graduates and early career therapists who want to build clinical confidence in a supportive environment while learning to work independently with patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct physical therapy evaluations to assess mobility, strength, balance, and functional limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in line with clinical guidelines and patient needs.
- Deliver therapeutic exercise, mobility and gait training, balance work, and other appropriate interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and recovery strategies.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Communicate and coordinate with physicians and other members of the care team.
- Follow Nebraska licensing requirements, HIPAA, and professional standards of practice.
- Take part in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.
- Current Physical Therapist license in Nebraska, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Able to work in a hybrid setup in Nebraska.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient centered approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a care team.
- Willingness to learn and continue developing clinical skills.
- CPR/BLS certification (may be required depending on care setting).
- Clinical rotations, internships, or experience in outpatient, home health, geriatric, orthopedic, or rehabilitation settings is a plus.
