D365 F&O Finance Solution Architect - Windsor (Hybrid) - 6 months - Inside IR35

What the role is
This is a finance-focused architect for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. They design and govern the whole finance solution, and they're the link between finance leadership, functional consultants, developers and partners. It's a functional and finance role more than a technical one.

Key responsibilities

• Solution design: end-to-end finance across the D365 F&O modules. That covers GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Revenue Recognition, Subscription Billing, Intercompany and Consolidation. They also produce the blueprints, diagrams and future-state processes.
• Business engagement: run workshops, fit-gap analysis and design reviews with finance stakeholders, and push back on requirements where needed.
• Process ownership: R2R, P2P and O2C, plus Subscription Billing, Revenue Recognition, Direct Debit management and reconciliations, all compliant with accounting and regulatory standards.
• Integration and data: integrations to CRM, payment gateways (Worldpay is named), banking systems, data warehouses and Power Platform. They also lead data migration and master data.
• Governance: run the design authority, sign off designs and specs, and support SIT, UAT and E2E testing.
• Delivery: own the functional design across the whole life cycle, in Agile or Waterfall, and guide the consultants and developers.

Must-haves

• Deep knowledge of the D365 Finance modules
• Several full-life cycle D365 F&O implementations
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making

Nice-to-haves

• 10+ years in ERP implementation, including 8+ years in D365 F&O Finance
• Background as a Lead Functional Consultant, Finance Architect, ERP Solution Architect or Programme Design Lead
• ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification (not mandatory)

Contract Details:
