Job Description

Position: Cisco SD-WAN Solution Architect

Type: Contract (6-12+ Months)

Location: Orlando, FL or Los Angeles, CA (Day 1 Onsite)

  • Prerequisites: 20+ years in Enterprise Networking, 5+ years in hands-on Cisco SD-WAN/Viptela, CCIE-level background preferred.

Key Requirements:

  • Technical Mastery: Cisco Catalyst 8500/8300 platforms, vManage/SD-WAN Manager, Feature Profiles, Configuration Groups, BGP/OSPF, IPsec overlays, QoS, and Multicast.
  • Architecture Assurance: Review design topologies, identify configuration sprawl, standardize templates, and optimize hybrid underlay integration (MPLS/Internet).
  • Delivery & Governance: Lead design reviews, validate lab test results, direct go-live cutovers, and resolve complex deployment issues for large-scale enterprise environments.
