Telecoms, Media and Digital Infrastructure - M&A Analyst - Goodman Masson

A leading global investment bank is expanding their EMEA TMT Group with an M&A Analyst hire centred on Telecoms, Media and Digital Infra. This is a well-established and large franchise with an excellent track record – further details can be shared on application.

Role focus:

1. Supporting live transaction execution across M&A and IPO processes
2. Preparing high-quality client materials, including pitchbooks, strategic reviews, management presentations, information memoranda, board materials and internal approval documents
3. Conducting detailed sector, company, investor and transaction analysis across the European telecom and digital infra space
4. Monitoring market developments, valuation trends, regulatory themes and investor activity across key sub-sectors
5. Performing valuation work using DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions and other relevant sector-specific approaches
6. Building and reviewing detailed financial models, including operating models, DCFs, merger and accretion/ dilution analyses, valuation frameworks, and sensitivities
7. Supporting senior bankers on client dialogue, strategic analysis and origination ideas

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in investment banking, M&A, ECM/IPO advisory or a similar transaction environment
2. Demonstrable interest in, and prior exposure to, the TMT sector in Europe, including telecommunications and digital infrastructure
3. Proven ability to produce high-quality client-facing materials
4. Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills, with a strong grasp of accounting and corporate finance fundamentals
