Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000 Base Salary
Schedule: 4 Days Onsite Per Week

About the Opportunity

Our leading direct client are seeking a strategic SAP Solution Architect to play a key role in shaping and advancing a complex enterprise SAP landscape. This highly visible position partners with business leaders, IT executives, and external technology partners to drive architecture decisions, modernization initiatives, security enhancements, and long-term SAP strategy.

This role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide architecture, improve system performance and resilience, and help define the future technology roadmap for a large-scale SAP environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain SAP architecture standards, governance frameworks, roadmaps, and future-state strategies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Lead architecture discussions across multiple SAP domains and business functions.
• Evaluate and approve solution designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Partner with internal teams, system integrators, cloud providers, and third-party vendors.
• Drive initiatives focused on platform stability, performance optimization, and cybersecurity resilience.
• Guide integration strategies between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Assess emerging SAP technologies and recommend innovations that align with business objectives.
• Mentor technical teams and promote architecture best practices across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SAP Architecture, Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or related roles.
• Proven experience leading SAP architecture initiatives within large enterprise environments.
• Strong experience supporting multiple SAP functional domains rather than a single module.
• Experience partnering with business leaders, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Background establishing architecture governance, standards, and strategic technology roadmaps.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate began their SAP career as a functional analyst in areas such as Order-to-Cash (OTC) and/or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) before moving into Solution Architecture. This individual combines deep business process knowledge with broad technical expertise across SAP ecosystems, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.
