Position: Privacy & Security Lead – Rural Health Transformation
Location: Raleigh, NC
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Position Overview
We are seeking a Privacy & Security Lead to provide governance, risk mitigation, and regulatory support for large-scale rural health transformation initiatives. You will work closely with program leaders, IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure data protection and regulatory alignment across all projects.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee privacy and security governance, incident response, data-flow reviews, and change management.

Review contract documents, including RFPs, RFQs, MOUs, MOAs, BAAs, and data-sharing agreements.

Conduct risk assessments and implement Privacy & Security by Design principles.

Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and NIST frameworks.

NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 Risk Assessments: 7+ Years

RFP / RFQ / MOU / MOA Regulatory Reviews: 7+ Years
-
Medicaid, Healthcare, or Public Health Programs: 5+ Years
-
Privacy & Security by Design Implementation: 5+ Years
-
HIPAA Security & Privacy Rules Implementation: 5+ Years
-
NIST Frameworks (CSF, Privacy, SP 800-53): 5+ Years
-
State Government / Health & Human Services Experience: 2+ Years
-
Healthcare Transformation Initiatives: 1+ Year
