QA Analyst- Hybrid

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a QA Analyst lll for a Hybrid position with a Leading Technology Firm located in Menlo Park, CA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This position requires you to be onsite 3 days a week.

As a QA Contractor, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality by executing and improving test processes, collaborating with engineering and QA leads, and supporting the delivery of high-quality features. This role is designed for individuals who can operate independently, contribute to test strategy, and take ownership of execution within defined scopes.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and maintain manual and automated test cases for new and existing features
• Reproduce, document, and triage bugs; work closely with engineering to drive resolution
• Write and maintain clear, comprehensive test cases and test plans
• Support QA leads in driving test strategy and test plan creation
• Create and maintain dashboards to track quality metrics and test progress
• Conduct Product Audits with QA leads guidance to analyze/improve QA test coverage
• Conduct Bug Audits with QA leads guidance to analyse/identify product areas that need improvement
• Provide Release readiness support for Medium/small size features
• Lead test execution for small to medium-sized projects or features
• Attend status meetings and represent QA in the absence of QA leads
• Work onsite as needed to collaborate directly with engineering and QA teams, ensuring product rigor
• Support stealth projects which require a higher level of diligence in execution
• Run and lead testing techniques like benchmarking testing, battery testing, performance testing

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience writing and executing test cases and test plans
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Comfortable working onsite and engaging directly with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with python, javascript, SQL

Desired skills:

• Experience with dashboarding tools and quality metrics is a plus

Pay range: Up to $68.87 per hour
