Role Summary:

The Oracle Project Contracts and Project Accounting Consultant is responsible for implementing, supporting, enhancing, and maintaining Oracle ERP solutions related to project contract management, project costing, billing, revenue recognition, and financial accounting. The consultant works closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, project managers, and technical teams to ensure accurate project financial management and compliance with organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

·       Configure and support Oracle Project Contracts (OKE) and Oracle Projects Accounting (PA) modules.

·       Gather, analyze, and document business requirements relating to project accounting, billing, revenue recognition, and contract management.

·       Design and implement project financial processes including:

o   Project setup and maintenance

o   Contract creation and funding

o   Budgeting and forecasting

o   Cost collection and expenditure management

o   Revenue generation and billing

o   Project closeout activities

·       Configure contract types, billing extensions, revenue methods, burden schedules, expenditure types, and accounting rules.

·       Support project lifecycle activities from project initiation through project closure.

·       Work with finance teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

·       Perform functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

·       Develop business process documentation, configuration documents, and training materials."
