Title: Lead Software Engineer (Apigee)
Location: Atlanta, GA Onsite
Relocation: Yes
Contract Duration: 12 Months+
Mandatory: Apigee, AI/ML, Python, and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with strong experience in Apigee, AI/ML, Python, and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering background and experience designing, developing, integrating, and supporting scalable cloud-based applications and APIs.
This is an onsite position in Atlanta, GA, and candidates should be comfortable working onsite throughout the engagement.
Mandatory Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with Apigee
  • Strong programming experience with Python
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies
  • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
  • Strong understanding of API development, integration, and management
  • Experience developing scalable and production-ready applications
  • Strong software engineering and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications.
  • Develop and integrate APIs using Apigee and related API management technologies.
  • Build Python-based applications, services, and automation solutions.
  • Develop and integrate AI/ML capabilities into software solutions.
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, data scientists, and other technical teams.
  • Troubleshoot application, API, and cloud-related issues.
  • Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, security, and reliability requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Document technical designs, implementations, and processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong professional experience in software development.
  • Hands-on experience with Apigee, Python, AI/ML, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and cloud architecture.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Vertex AI.
  • Experience integrating machine learning models into production applications.
  • Experience with API security, authentication, authorization, and governance.
