The Role

• Provide comprehensive engineering support to key submarine shipbuilding program offices.
• Contribute to the research, development, acquisition, and maintenance of submarine technology.
• Apply scientific and mathematical principles to solve complex technical challenges.
• Design and develop innovative solutions for naval systems and equipment.
• Analyze the environmental and user impact of developed products and systems.
• Oversee testing, production, and maintenance to ensure product quality and project timelines.

What You'll Need

• Master's degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional engineering experience.
• 7+ years of experience in the design, test, qualification, and production of naval shipboard electrical and/or propulsion equipment.
• Knowledge of Submarines and/or the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.
• Experience with large electrical machines and/or power electronics.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active secret security clearance.
