Link Solutions is seeking a Network Administrator (Senior-Level) to join our team in Orlando, FL. 

  • U.S. Citizen 
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required 
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or higher is required 
  • Non-remote (relocation incentive available) 

The Network Administrator (Senior) will support the South East Region Cyberspace Support Center (RCSC) and serve as a senior technical resource responsible for the administration, optimization, security, and modernization of enterprise network infrastructure supporting mission-critical government operations.

This role provides technical leadership across routing, switching, wireless networking, storage networking, and network security initiatives. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor while supporting enterprise architecture, modernization efforts, cybersecurity compliance, and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead administration, maintenance, optimization, and security of enterprise network infrastructure. 
  • Serve as the primary technical resource for complex networking issues and escalated troubleshooting efforts. 
  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise routing, switching, wireless, and storage networking environments. 
  • Administer Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Cisco ACI networking technologies. 
  • Analyze network performance, identify optimization opportunities, and implement improvements. 
  • Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives and network technology refresh projects. 
  • Develop and maintain network architecture documentation, standards, and operational procedures. 
  • Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity operations. 
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement security controls, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives. 
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network and systems administrators. 
  • Interface with vendors and Government stakeholders regarding network technologies, support, and lifecycle management. 
  • Support enterprise storage networking solutions, including NetApp, HPE SAN technologies, and Fibre Channel environments. 
  • Conduct capacity planning and long-term infrastructure strategy development. 
  • Support audits, inspections, accreditation efforts, and cybersecurity compliance activities.

Compensation Range:

  • $100,000 - $130,000 annually
  • Full-Time (Monday-Friday)

Several factors influence final compensation, including relevant experience, technical expertise, certifications, and education.

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance. 
  • Eight (8+) years of experience supporting, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise network environments. 
  • IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
  • Advanced expertise with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Cisco ACI technologies, including routing, switching, wireless networking, and network architecture design.
  • Experience leading Tier III network troubleshooting, performance optimization, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining network security controls in accordance with DoD, NIST, RMF, or other federal cybersecurity requirements.
  • Experience supporting enterprise storage networking technologies, including NetApp, HPE SAN, and Fibre Channel environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading network technology refresh projects, capacity planning efforts, and long-term infrastructure strategy development.
  • Experience developing network architecture documentation, technical standards, operational procedures, and configuration management processes.
  • Experience supporting disaster recovery planning, business continuity operations, and high-availability network environments.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior administrators and engineering staff.
  • Experience supporting government or enterprise-scale networks and collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional technical teams.

Preferred: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline. 
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or advanced networking certifications. 
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) environments. 
  • Extensive experience with Cisco ACI, enterprise wireless networking, and network architecture design. 
  • Experience with NetApp storage solutions, HPE SAN technologies, and Fibre Channel networking. 
  • Experience supporting mission-critical systems and high-visibility customers. 
  • Experience mentoring junior administrators and leading technical initiatives. 
  • Strong project planning, organizational, and documentation skills. 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
