About the Role
OpenLoop’s mission is to bring care anywhere by powering telehealth solutions at scale. The goal of this team is to build the supply chain process from the ground up and centralize all supply chain functions to one team. Negotiating better pricing and lead times will lead to more individuals having access to safe affordable medication. In this role, you will own the end-to-end supply chain process—spanning procurement, sourcing, and planning—to ensure seamless execution and scalable growth.
What You'll Do
Procure and expedite materials according to Bill of Materials (BOMs) and own timelines, deliverables, risk mitigation, and reporting to senior management
Manage day to day purchasing issuing Purchase orders based on established forecasts, planning, Return on Investment (ROI) models, and projections.
Help drive and improve current processes and procedures by writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding sourcing, planning, purchasing, and quality/supplier agreements
Negotiate pricing and lead times with suppliers while always remaining compliant with quality standards and regulations
Assist the purchasing manager in day to day operations and work with cross functional teams during audits or regulatory reviews
Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or equivalent experience4+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, and/or account management
Background in 503A or 503B pharmacy manufacturing operations
Ability to problem solve and identify root causes
Capable of seeing the big picture while clearly articulating the detailed rationale behind decisions
Able to effectively communicate with stakeholders internally and externally
Strong attention to detail regarding quality management, laws and regulations
Experience with BOMs and BOM management
Experience working directly with vendors and suppliers
Experience managing complex relationships internally and externally
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in quality investigations, deviations, Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), and Supplier Audits
Experience following and understanding Current Good Manufacturing Practice(cGMP)
Familiarity with USP-NF (797) Pharmaceutical Compounding-Sterile Preparations
