Java AWS Spark Engineer

Introduction:

We are seeking a talented Java AWS Spark Engineer to join our team in Wilmington, DE. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining data processing applications using Java, Apache Spark, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement data processing solutions using Java, Apache Spark, and AWS technologies
• Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data processing applications with existing systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing applications
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Java programming experience
• Experience with Apache Spark
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Knowledge of Terraform
• Experience with the Spring Framework

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Data Lake technologies
• Knowledge of Python
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Understanding of AI concepts
• Familiarity with Big Data tools and Data Lake architecture
