The Role
- Reverse engineer software, firmware, and hardware of target systems to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate within teams to modify device firmware and software, enabling additional functionalities or alternative communication methods.
- Operationalize proof-of-concept code through rigorous testing, comprehensive documentation, and integration with sponsor systems.
- Propose innovative ideas for both internal and external funding opportunities.
- Articulate technical concepts through papers and presentations to diverse audiences, including government decision-makers, team members, and senior management.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in reverse engineering or developing offensive cyber capabilities.
- Strong understanding of operating system fundamentals, internals, exploitation techniques, and mitigations.
- Development experience in low-level languages such as assembly or C/C++.
- Proficiency in using software or hardware debuggers for complex problem-solving.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a Secret-level security clearance, with the potential for TS/SCI clearance.
