As Sales Manager, you will lead from the front, using data, coaching, performance management and strong commercial judgement to maximise conversion, productivity and revenue. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, remove barriers to success and ensure the team delivers exceptional outcomes for both customers and the business.

  • Create a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvement where high standards are clearly defined and consistently maintained.
  • Drive performance through effective scorecard management, KPI tracking, performance reviews and robust action planning.
  • Identify underperformance quickly and implement effective coaching and performance management plans to improve results.
  • Celebrate and recognise success, creating an environment where achievement and excellence are rewarded.

Coaching & People Development

  • Deliver regular coaching, call listening, development planning and feedback sessions to maximise individual and team performance.
  • Build capability across the team by developing sales, objection handling, customer engagement and commercial skills.
  • Actively identify and nurture future talent, supporting succession planning and career development.
  • Foster a highly engaged, motivated and resilient team culture that thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Commercial & Operational Excellence

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve conversion rates, sales effectiveness and overall team performance.
  • Analyse sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement, taking swift action where required.
  • Drive continuous optimisation of customer journeys, sales processes, systems and lead management practices.
  • Ensure operational discipline through adherence to quality, compliance and regulatory requirements.

Insight & Stakeholder Management

  • Prepare and present regular performance updates, recommendations and action plans to senior management.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market conditions and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and improved conversion.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and support business objectives.
  • Use data-driven insights to influence decision-making and deliver measurable business outcomes.

About You

We are looking for a leader who combines strong commercial awareness with exceptional people leadership skills.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Proven success in a sales leadership role within a high-volume, target-driven sales environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering sustained sales growth through coaching, performance management and team development.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, challenge and develop individuals at all levels.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and make effective commercial decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
