Senior Oracle Database Engineer with Security Clearance

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Engineer to join a leading government contracting organization supporting mission-critical national security initiatives. The Senior Oracle Database Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise Oracle database solutions in a highly secure environment supporting large-scale operational systems.

Responsibilities of the Senior Oracle Database Engineer: • Develop, support, and maintain enterprise Oracle database solutions across Oracle 10g through current versions. • Design and implement advanced SQL and PL/SQL code including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and database APIs. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database performance and application issues across development, test, and production environments. • Support database security initiatives utilizing Oracle Database Vault and Label Security. • Participate in large-scale database migrations and modernization efforts. • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams to ensure database reliability and scalability.

Qualifications of the Senior Oracle Database Engineer: • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP). • 10+ years of experience developing and supporting enterprise Oracle database solutions. • Advanced expertise with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development. • Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex database environments. • Active CompTIA Security+ certification. • Experience with Oracle Exadata, Database Vault, Label Security, and large-scale data migrations highly preferred.

Compensation for the Senior Oracle Database Engineer includes: • Salary range: $80,000 - $200,000 depending on experience • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO • Opportunity to support highly visible national security programs This job opens for applications on 10/27/2026.
