The Role

• Collaborate with finance and accounting directors to ensure accurate and timely recording of journal entries and transactions.
• Provide guidance and training to other accountants, serving as the initial point of contact for transaction recording and policy inquiries.
• Perform daily accounting tasks for assigned communities, stepping in for those without dedicated staff due to size or turnover.
• Prepare daily cash account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Identify, resolve, and implement preventative measures for accounting issues.
• Assist in the preparation of month-end, quarterly, and annual reports, consolidations, and other required reporting.
• Support budget, forecasting, and audit processes.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Five years of accounting experience, or a combination of education and experience.
• Proficient knowledge of US GAAP.
