The Role • Operate heavy machinery such as hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks. • Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols. • Communicate effectively with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks. • Drive hostlers to accurately position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is mandatory. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Open availability for all shifts, including weekends and holidays. • Basic communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Willingness to undergo pre-employment background verification, physical, and drug screening. • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs.
