Oberarzt (w/m/d) Unfallchirurgie | Krefeld, Germany | On-site We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Physician (w/m/d) to join our leading hospital's Trauma Surgery department. This is an excellent opportunity to actively shape operative quality, contribute to training, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration within a renowned medical institution. The Role • Actively participate in general trauma surgery consultations. • Manage the full spectrum of trauma cases within a primary and secondary care setting, including initial and follow-up treatment. • Independently perform surgical procedures for both inpatient and outpatient cases, ensuring comprehensive pre- and post-operative care. • Support medical documentation through dictation and represent as a "Durchgangsarzt" (examining physician for work-related injuries). • Participate in the on-call senior physician rotation to ensure 24/7 trauma surgery coverage. What You'll Need • Completed specialist training in Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery or Special Orthopedics/Trauma Surgery. • Proven expertise in common trauma surgical procedures and interdisciplinary emergency care. • Desire for professional development or prior experience in a senior physician role, ideally with completed "D-Arzt" course. • Willingness to take responsibility for organizational and content-related processes and contribute to the development of the trauma surgery focus. • Empathetic demeanor, teamwork, initiative, and flexibility.
