• Conducts or participates in the research, design, development, and testing of COTS or custom computing hardware and/or otherelectrical components.
• Develops designs for the installation of components and assembliesinto chassis, racks, cabinets,workstations, customer facilities, and/or shelters.
• Plans, directs, reviews and coordinates preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are met.
• Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports. This is an Emerging Professional (level 2) ROLE where candidates typically require 1+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.

Basic Qualifications

• Hardware Installation experience
• Experience with hardware design and documentation
• Understand cable drawings
• Must be willing to travel 10% locally
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• An active Secret Clearance is required for consideration

• Ability to travel to install sites and lab/test locations
